Law Dance Studio offers its students the opportunity to audition and compete as part of a larger competitive team. This team will travel to a variety of competitions representing the studio. The competition team is focused, fun, hardworking but also requires a higher level of commitment and expectations. Being part of an elite competition team is a privilege that is earned, not a right that is granted.
Competition team students must:
Enroll in ALL genres of dance offered at LAW dance Studio. This includes Acro, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, Jazz, PBT, Tap, Pointe (if approved), as well as either Cheer Dance or Musical Theater. Competition team members must be versatile in all disciplines.
If attending classes at other studios it must be disclosed upfront to Ms. Lisa.

Prepare and present a competition audition
Attend ALL competition classes. Being a part of team means being there for your team. When you miss practice it affects your teammates.

Attend ALL competitions and workshops

Star Systems: April 5-7, 2019– Rochester, NY
Onstage: May 10-12, 2019 – Niagara Falls, NY
Jump: May 3-5, 2019 – Buffalo, NY (convention only)

Be a student in good standing academically and behaviorally in respective schools. Students must also be presentable at all times while in the studio and outside of the studio. Students represent LAW Dance Studio in appearance and behavior wherever they are. It is the expectation of Ms. Lisa that students behave accordingly. Vulgar language and behavior are strictly prohibited.
Competition team parents must:
Volunteer their time at events where the studio will have a presence. Events include but are not limited to:

Turkey 5k (Caryville)
